Of the 5 internships I’ve had while attending NYU, RevTrax has definitely been the most valuable in understanding and shaping my own personal interests and career goals. I’ve always had a keen interest in the digital marketing space and interning at RevTrax has taken this interest to a new level.
Working here, I never really feel like an intern. There is no so-called “hierarchy” and I’m treated like a regular employee. I’m encouraged to voice my opinion and share my ideas with my team. I’m also learning that working in a “start-up” environment provides opportunity to take full responsibility and ownership of your own projects. Learning and observing is key and being able to adapt in such a fast-paced environment, is essential.
I’ve already taken on many interesting projects. One of my first tasks was to research holiday shopping trends for one of our retail clients. My findings helped the RevTrax team provide recommendations to the client to help shape their holiday promotional campaign, which I thought was super cool.
As I’m the Strategy & Analytics intern, I have also been given the chance to learn how our promotional data is transformed into intelligent reports that provide our clients with insight as to how their promotions are performing.
Being an intern at RevTrax has allowed me to really explore the couponing world. It has shed light on an industry I knew very little about. Knowing how much our clients trust our products makes me realize the potential of the couponing industry and how innovative our products are. The experience and knowledge I’ve already gained here is something that I will remember and be able to apply in my future career path.
Every single person in the company is extremely smart and extraordinary. They make up the fun culture of RevTrax. An internship here is a must to anyone interested in the digital marketing industry!
